(Live here for the animals) - About 250 animals at Shanti Farm are about to lose their home and hope again • Please don't let this happen.
"Shanti Farm", is a farm whose essence is to give life and hope to animals that have already lost trust in humans and hope, animals that have been saved from death or that have been rescued from industry, and connects them with humans. The farm is the life's work of Inbal Kesem, who founded it in 2019 and has been managing it ever since, with the help of volunteers and through donations from good people, who make its existence possible.
Now this special farm needs to move to another location. The cost of the transition may reach half a million shekels. In order to reach the required amount, Inbal turns to you, with the aim of raising donations for the continued existence of the farm.
◄Shanti Farm needs a new home • Watch
"Shanti Farm" was established as mentioned in 2019 in Atlit, by Inbal Kesem, who has been managing it ever since. Two years of searching were required for Anbal until she found the right place for the farm, when she had two goals in front of her eyes, which she talks about in an interview with Lahi Fe.
"A soul like mine and yours"
"The first goal is to care for and save animals that have almost lost hope and trust in humans," says Kesem. "The second goal was to connect humans and animals, to strengthen this bond and connection, to show people that they are not necessarily like me or like the volunteers here, who are aware of and live the relationship with animals, but people who may have less opportunity to get to know them up close, I wanted them to feel and see that this is a creature Alive and pure, with a soul like yours and mine. A living creature that if you love it will give you back a thousand times over. Yes, the cows and the goats too, all of them."

They came to strengthen and left strengthened
The farm as mentioned was established and is continuously managed by Inbal Kesem, together with volunteers who help her implement this dream. Kesem emphasizes that without the help of the volunteers, she would not be able to do what she does, "whether it is in the day-to-day operations, feeding, cleaning, literally everything," she says.
"There are quite a few volunteers here who came with the goal of helping the animals, but in the end came out strengthened themselves thanks to the animals. There are people here who are dealing with post-trauma, who have gone through various events in their lives, for whom the Shanti farm is a therapeutic farm for everything."

All thanks to the kindness of people
"All our money comes, of course, from donations," says Inbal. "Everything is based on the kindness of people who know how to see the soul that is behind the eyes of all the animals here. It may seem like an easy and simple story to operate, but the costs are crazy, and that's even before we get into the costs of medical treatments, which is actually the essence of the farm. Beyond that Food for animals, hay, ongoing maintenance of the place itself, electricity, water, everything is all net of donations."

"I am amazed again and again by people's desire to help"
"When rescue and rescue cases come in, I post on social media, and every time I am amazed to see how people's desire to help continues to pulsate in them. It moves me even now when I talk about it."
A very complex and expensive transition
"We have been on the farm in Atlit for four years, unfortunately this area was originally intended for a different purpose and now it is time for us to leave. We have experienced amazing things here, new lives have been created here, quite a few lives have also ended. I am now looking to move this entire factory that I established to a new location. There is still nothing official on the agenda, but the truth is, I'm afraid of the moment, because it requires a lot of money from us to operate this transition, and right now we're not there yet."

Dozens of cats, cows, horses, goats...
"The move itself may cost about half a million shekels. It's not like you and I are moving with a truck and 40 boxes. Trucks for approved and legal transportation of cows and horses is a matter of thousands of shekels. There are 50 cats here that need to be picked up one by one, countless rodents, there are here Goats, horses, cows, goats, dozens of dogs. Everything must be done in a supervised and controlled manner and that's even before we talked about rebuilding water and electricity infrastructure and leaving the current area "clean" with new land, free of buildings we've already built here and more."
Agree and confirm. Shabbat Shalom.
