The trial of the actor Moshe Ivgi, accused of sexual offenses against four women, opened today (Monday) at the Haifa Magistrate's Court and is being conducted behind closed doors. This is about a month after the Haifa district attorney's office filed an indictment against him for sexual harassment, and an indecent act against four women, one of which occurred in the Haifa theater.
First charge
The first indictment refers to a case that happened in 2012 on the set of a film in which he participated. According to him, the complainant A. was sitting in a cafe corner in a tank top and Ivy approached her and caressed her bare back and put his hand under her tank top. A objected, but he answered her: "The loophole calls for a thief." In another case, Ivegi clung to A's body and offered her an obscene proposition.
Second charge
The second charge refers to an incident that happened at another photo location, in 2013. According to which Ivegi clung to the back of complainant B, and grabbed her breast under her shirt.
A third charge
The third charge also refers to cases that occurred in 2013. According to it, he forcefully pushed his head towards the chest of complainant C, who worked with him, and touched her body over her shirt.
Fourth charge
The fourth charge refers to Complainant D, whom Ivygay did not know, according to which he met her at a falafel shop and asked her blatant sexual questions.
It should be noted that Ivegi denied the suspicions, and after the publication of the complaints against him announced that he was suspending all his activities in the theater. In the message he wrote in view of the publications, he stated:
"In view of the wave of publications that are shaking my life and causing my family great pain, I decided to take a break. I repeat that I have not harmed any person, man or woman. As far as I am required to address things, I will do so in the authorized places and fully."
