A waste separation pilot at the source in the neighborhoods of Ramat Sapir and Ramat Chen - next week they start
Hello everyone,
This coming Tuesday 01/01/2013 a waste separation pilot will begin at the source in the neighborhoods of Ramat Sapir and Ramat Chen in Haifa.
In this way, the city of Haifa also joins local authorities in Israel that separate organic waste and dry waste in residents' homes.
In the first phase, the organic waste will be directed to compost sites outside of Haifa where it will be turned into organic fertilizer, but at the same time the Haifa Municipality began to examine
The possibility of turning the organic waste in a completely natural process into biogas, which is similar in composition to natural gas, which can be diverted to generate electricity or
Using it to drive the vehicles of the Haifa municipality and the buses in the city using diesel and gasoline, which are much more polluting fuels compared to biogas.
First publication on the subject of the pilot that will appear tomorrow in the locals of the city.
Shabbat Shalom and good luck to all of us,
Ron
