Bostan Chiat is an abandoned garden located at the lower end of Nahal Shih on Mount Carmel in Haifa.
The orchard was established in 1936 by Aziz Khayat, a member of the Khayat family, one of the richest families in Haifa, as an orchard for family vacation purposes. The size of the orchard is about 6.5 dunams and it is built inspired by Arab-Muslim garden architecture and it includes waterfalls, fountains, ponds and canals that connect the parts of the garden. In recent years, a number of crazy people have been trying to talk, led by Eil Friedlander, to preserve the place with their own strength.
