President Herzog visited the site of the missile's fall in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood in Haifa

During the afternoon (Wednesday, 18/6/2025), President of the State Yitzhak Herzog and his wife Michal arrived in Haifa to tour the site of the missile strike in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood in Haifa. The President of the State and his wife were accompanied by Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav and Deputy Mayor Avihu Hahn, who gave them a comprehensive overview of the missile strike and the actions taken by the City of Haifa since then to assist residents whose homes were damaged and to restore the area.

During their visit to the scene of the missile strike in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood in Haifa, President Herzog and his wife Michal also met with volunteers from "Am Ahad" in the area, a civil aid organization that has hundreds of thousands of volunteers and operates in emergency situations. "Lev Ahad" volunteers have taken part in many aid operations in Israel and around the world, including the earthquake in Morocco and the earthquake in Turkey, the war in Ukraine, the coronavirus pandemic, and the Israeli wars.
