Fatal accident on Highway 70 – near the Zevulun intersection 17/6/25

(haipo) – A driver in his 20s was killed this evening, 17/6/25, on Highway 70, in a self-inflicted accident.

Highway 70: A car driver was killed as a result of his vehicle overturning.
A car driver (about 20 years old) was killed in an accident near the Zevulun intersection.

Naftali Rotenberg, a paramedic and director of the Carmel region at United Hatzalah, and paramedic Haim Atia stated:
"This is a vehicle that overturned and as a result, a young man who was driving the vehicle was killed. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene due to the nature of the severe injuries he suffered."

MDA:

At 19:35 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a vehicle that crashed into a pole on Highway 70 near the Zevulun intersection. MDA medics and paramedics report a 26-year-old man, with no signs of life, with multiple systemic injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.

MDA medics Avraham Feibelson and his wife, Hodiya Feibelson, said:
"We saw the driver of the vehicle lying near the ditch, beyond the safety railing, unconscious and suffering from serious injuries to his body. We performed medical examinations, but unfortunately his injuries were significant and we had no choice but to declare him dead."

Merhav's traffic accident investigators have begun investigating the circumstances of a private vehicle accident that occurred a short time ago on Highway 70 near the Zevulun intersection.

According to medical officials, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead as a result of the accident.
Police forces from the Zevulun station, along with traffic accident investigators from Merhav, who arrived at the scene, began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
