(haipo) – The Ombudsman has opened a hotline for victims of Operation "Am Kalavi" who have not received a satisfactory response from public bodies. The Ombudsman's hotline at the State Comptroller's Office is available to the public.
Against the backdrop of the campaign against Iran, the Ombudsman in the State Comptroller's Office is renewing the activity of the hotline - the special hotline intended for those who have difficulty exercising their rights and need assistance with public bodies following the state of emergency.
Under the direction of State Comptroller Matanyahu Engelman, the Ombudsman operates a hotline designated for those who have been affected and have not received the required response from public bodies following the state of emergency.

The hotline is intended for complaints regarding the state of emergency only. Complaints about public bodies can also be submitted to the Commission via an online form on the website of the Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman and in other ways. In addition to Hebrew, a complaint can be submitted in any language, including Arabic, Russian, Amharic and English.
State Comptroller and Ombudsman Matanyahu Engelman:
"Alongside the important war effort in Iran, it is essential to provide a correct and rapid response to the citizens of Israel. The missile strikes show that the entire country is a front and that all government ministries must assist citizens, including in a proactive manner on their part. I call on the ministries to open emergency lines and handle citizens' inquiries to them efficiently and quickly. In this time of emergency, public employees are of critical importance in civil resilience."
The commission's employees are going out into the field to assist evacuees returning to their homes in the north and south and residents who were affected by Operation "Am Kalavi" and are encountering bureaucratic problems.
The hotline operates Sunday-Thursday, between 08:00 AM and 17:00 PM.
