MDA:
Following the alarms that were heard in the last few minutes in the north of the country, at this stage no calls were received at the MDA 101 hotline about falls or casualties, with the exception of a number of minor injuries sustained on the way to a protected area. Updates will be provided later if necessary.
16:27 – MEZKA update | Operation "Am Kalvia" has finished treating the scene in the north of the country in the last hour, where three dead were found.
In the last hour, ZAKA volunteers completed their operation at another difficult scene in the north of the country, where three people were found dead as a result of a direct missile hit. The death toll in the barrage of fire from last night and this morning currently stands at eight people, four in the Sharon region, another killed in the Dan bloc, and three in another scene in the north.
Aaron Horowitz, a volunteer from the Northern District of ZAKA, who arrived at the scene in the north of the country, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the entire area on fire. We waited for the fire brigade to finish their work, and together with the rescue forces, we entered the compound in an attempt to find survivors. Unfortunately, we located three lifeless bodies at the scene who were killed as a result of the missile strike."

09:30 – Three people who were cut off from contact in Haifa have been confirmed dead.
Tragedy in Haifa: Three people were killed today (Monday, 16/06/25) after being trapped in the protected area, following an Iranian missile strike that caused a severe fire at the scene last night, 15/6/25. According to reports, when the alarm sounded, they properly entered the protected area, but shortly afterwards the rocket hit and a fire broke out. Initially, contact was established with them, but it was later lost. Emergency teams worked for long hours to rescue the trapped people. Unfortunately, in the morning hours, medical personnel were forced to declare them dead. Our condolences to the families of the murdered.

So far, MDA teams have taken 12 injured people to hospitals, 2 of whom are in moderate condition and the rest in light condition. Large MDA forces are conducting searches. Police update:
The Israel Police recently received reports of a weapon falling in the coastal district. At this stage, no reports of casualties have been received. Property and infrastructure were damaged. Coastal District police and police saboteurs are currently working to isolate the crash sites and are continuing to search for additional locations in order to remove concerns about further risk. We ask the public to stay away from crash sites and follow the instructions of the police officers on the ground.
ZAKA update
Several areas were reported to have been hit, and ZAKA teams and rescue forces were searching for trapped people. So far, no casualties have been located in the area.
04:05 – Early warning has been activated
Residents throughout Israel received advance warning of rocket fire on Israel.
The Second Lebanon War against Hezbollah lasted about a month. A. Some of the bunkers require a month's worth of ammunition, or are actually dug in trenches within the mountains of Iran,
And there is no way to reach these storages.
B. Some of the launchers are also camouflaged in tunnels inside the mountains and are difficult to see and reach.
C. In tactics learned from Lebanon, Iran disperses various units that cut off communication so that their location cannot be determined from within houses, villages, and settlements, and fires almost independently so that the enemy will be psychologically frustrated by the inability to end the fire or locate it. And the same model exists in Houthisland.
Therefore, as with the frustration from the incessant shooting in Lebanon, and to a large extent also from Hamas in Gaza before the war, we move on to 'qualitative' achievements of a reality of launching a missile here, launching a missile there, and assassinations of individuals.
