Starting today (14/6/25), the Home Front Command is implementing a new warning method aimed at saving lives and providing increased preparation time for entering the protected area.
This is how it will work:
🔶 30 minutes before a volley
A directive will be sent to stay near a protected area – the directive will be distributed in the Home Front Command app and through other means. This is the time to make sure the protected area is ready and accessible.
🔶 10 minutes before a volley
An advance warning will be sent to the relevant area, as a burst message on the telephone (CB), warning of an expected volley in the coming minutes.
🔶 During the barrage
A real-time alert will be sounded (sirens, app, Home Front Command website, etc.), requiring immediate entry into the protected area and remaining there until an official announcement.
🔶 Release from the protected space
It will be carried out in two stages – first a notification of return to staying near a protected space, then full release. Both notifications will be transmitted digitally.
Even without warning – be alert and follow the instructions. The instructions save lives.
