(Hai Pa) – Beware of fake calls. The National Cyber Command and the Home Front Command hotline have received numerous reports of phone calls from a number impersonating the Home Front Command (073-3103014), in which the recipient of the call was told to prepare emergency equipment, and in some cases was even told to browse a specific website to receive instructions.
The National Cyber Command clarifies that this is a scam, and that the website mentioned in the conversation should not be browsed.
Important Information:
The Home Front Command does not contact citizens with automated telephone calls, and does not initiate calls that include defensive instructions or links to websites – unless you have contacted it on your own initiative.
How do you drive correctly?
- • Only refer to messages and instructions received through official channels, such as the Home Front Command app and website.
- • Do not click on links or browse websites mentioned in phone conversations.
The issue is being handled and examined by the National Cyber Directorate in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
