After a gestation period of about 50 days, the pups are born, small, furry and infinitely sweet. Just like babies, they are initially closed in on themselves and go through the closed-eye stage, while at the same time they begin to feed on their mother’s milk.
How do they grow?
For the first few months of their life, the cubs stay with their family – that is, in a den among basalt rocks or in some other mysterious area. The mother and father work hard to bring them fresh food, mainly mice, insects and wild fruits. During the first few months, they hardly come out of hiding, but very quickly they begin to learn to run, jump and explore their surroundings.
