(haipo) – Marijuana, cocaine and cash were seized during a police raid conducted today (12/6/25) on apartments in the Ahuza and Carmel Tzarfati neighborhoods in Haifa. 3 suspects were arrested for questioning.
The Israel Police told Lahi Pa News Corporation: Approximately 7 kilograms of a substance suspected of being a marijuana-type drug, approximately 200 grams of cocaine, and approximately 53,000 NIS suspected of being proceeds from criminal activity were seized in raids by Coastal District police on apartments in the Ahuza and Carmel Tzarfati neighborhoods of the city.
Three suspects – residents of Haifa, Nesher and Eilat, aged 36, 22 and 33 – were detained for questioning.
As part of the Israel Police's fight against the drug scourge, with an emphasis on trafficking and distribution offenses, Coastal District police officers carried out proactive activities to eradicate these phenomena.
During the operation, a search was conducted in an apartment in Carmel Ha-Tarfati in Haifa, which was suspected of being used as a drug warehouse. After receiving permission to operate, the detectives entered the apartment - where they discovered a substance suspected of being a marijuana drug weighing approximately 7 kg and cigarettes, a substance suspected of being a hashish drug, and vials with oil suspected of being a hashish drug. Two suspects, a 22-year-old resident of Nesher and a 33-year-old resident of Eilat, were arrested on the spot and taken for questioning at the Haifa police station.
In another operation in the Ahuza neighborhood of the city, a search warrant was executed in an apartment, which uncovered approximately 200 grams of a substance suspected of being a cocaine-type drug and approximately 2,500 NIS in cash suspected of being proceeds from criminal activity. A 36-year-old Haifa resident suspect was arrested for questioning at the Haifa police station.
All materials were seized and transferred for further evidence extraction and investigation at the Israel Police forensic laboratories.
