A soccer tournament in memory of the soldier Sergeant Gal Gabriel Kobi, the late, will be held this Friday (13/6/2025), at the municipal soccer field in Tirat Carmel. An exciting and honorable soccer tournament in memory of Sergeant Gal Gabriel Kobi, the late, a native of Tirat Carmel who fell during his combat service.
The tournament is an initiative of the soldiers of the "Rotem" Battalion of the "Givati" Brigade, the battalion in which the late Gal served and fought, and later his younger brother also serves today, in the same company. The tournament will begin at 11:00 AM.
As part of the effort to perpetuate Gal's memory and connect current fighters to the legacy of the fallen, the entire company, along with all its soldiers, will arrive at Tirat Carmel, Gal's hometown, and take part in a tournament dedicated entirely to his image and memory.
This important and exciting initiative was joined in impressive solidarity by the Tirat Carmel Municipality, Trio Insurance Agency, Falafel Orion, managed by Maor Lart and his father Itzik Lart, Tirat Carmel Burger Restaurant, Michal Gabaim, and many other good people who came to pay their respects and honor the memory of the late Gal.
During the tournament, all players participating in this tournament will wear shirts with the picture of the late Gal, and at the end of the event they will receive unique medals and trophies bearing his name. The event will be accompanied by a warm and respectful atmosphere, including rich refreshments and a meeting between generations of fighters, family members, friends and the city community. Admission to the event is free, the general public is invited to come and participate in this exciting tournament, come honor the memory of the late Gal Gabriel Kobi, the hero of the city of Tirat Carmel.
