(haipo) – A seizure order was issued for the "Meat Center" butcher shop in the Kavabir neighborhood in Haifa.
Deputy Commander of the Coastal District of the Israel Police, Lieutenant Colonel Maoz Ben Shevo, signed an administrative closure order for a butcher shop in the city of Haifa, after during a police operation, an illegal resident of the territories was caught in the business, who was employed without entry or work permits.
Targeted enforcement operation
The activity was conducted in recent days as part of a targeted enforcement operation led by the police against the employment, transportation and sheltering of illegal residents. The operation was carried out by police officers from the Haifa station in the Carmel area, accompanied by soldiers from the Carmel Special Operations Command.
During the searches, the forces entered a butcher shop operating in the city, where they located the illegal resident, who was employed illegally. The suspect was arrested on the spot, brought to the city police station, and after an investigation, it was decided to imprison him.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the Haifa station acted to issue a closure order for the business. Lieutenant Colonel Maoz Ben Shebu, deputy commander of the Coastal District, signed an administrative closure order against the butcher shop.
The police told Lai Pa:
"We will continue our determined activity to locate illegal residents, some of whom may also be involved in criminal and security activities. We will take strong action against business owners who violate the law and endanger public safety."
The order issued is valid for several days, and the future of the business will be determined later depending on the developments in the investigation and the follow-up process with the relevant authorities.
