(live here) – A fashion show that is also a social statement – Oded (Zaza Tzadok) fills Haifa with color and courage and brings to the city a bold and vibrant collection that combines design, performance and a clear message of equality, belonging and the celebration of pride.
This Pride Month, Haifa is wearing new colors, bold, extroverted, deep and touching. And these colors have a name, a face and a big heart: Oded, known to many by his stage name Zaza Tzadok, Haifa's drag queen and initiator of cultural events and vibrant nightlife, a performance artist, creator, dancer, choreographer and stage designer who returns to the Haifa stage with an extraordinary project: a Pride Fashion Show, which is far beyond fashion. This is an exciting, powerful, surprising show and above all, it resonates with pride in every possible shade.
A celebration of uniqueness, struggle and joy
"This event was born out of a love for fashion, a love for the stage, a love for the city of Haifa and, above all, a love for people," says Oded (Zaza Tzadok) in a special interview with Haifa. "I wanted to create a stage that connects local creation, sustainable fashion, performance, the fight for human rights and a proud declaration: We are here, we see and are seen, we are not disappearing."
The show, which will be held on Nordau Street in the heart of the Hadar neighborhood, in the fashion space, is taking place on Tuesday 17/6/25 at 20:00 It will combine performances, music, a unique fashion show, and even moments of direct interaction with the audience. All of these will be presented by local artists and creators, extraordinary models, and passionate hearts.
The exhibition was born from an exciting collaboration between the Haifa Municipality, Culture and Arts Department, Hadar Community Center, and "Ofrita", the sustainable fashion space located on Hillel Street and the corner of Nordau. Ofrita, which leads social and cultural projects with the LGBT community, hosts the project with love and embraces the local creators, with the goal of recognizing and celebrating human diversity in Haifa.

Gayot Collections – The Designers Behind the Clothes
At the center of the exhibition will be clothes created especially for the project by prominent Haifa designers, each of whom brings with them a unique interpretation of pride, color, protest, courage, and belonging. The designers participating in the project: Shaked Harosh, Rotem Yaniv Lakshmi, Lalika, Noam Yogev, Angie Eichel, Adi Pilsborn and Oya Nitzan. The music that will accompany the show will be played by DJ Guy Resnik, who will bring with him a proud, happy, and danceable set that will connect the performances, the clothes, and the energy on Nordau Street.
Fashion as a platform for protest, hope, and a sense of belonging
"This is not just a fashion show," explains Oded. "It's a stage that allows not only to reveal designs, but also emotions, ideas, and voices that don't always get a place in the mainstream. The concept of the show is based on three elements: struggle, identity, and celebration. The items that the audience will see express all of these, whether through bold colors that are reminiscent of the Pride flag, through nighttime designs, or through performers who respond to the garment and create an exciting, artistic theatrical piece from it."
The models themselves, some of whom are performers, not only take to the runway but create a real performance around each item. "They take the garment and tell a story. The runway is not just a walk, it's a statement."

Moments of magic during the preparation process
"When I wrote the event's communiqué, I was overwhelmed with excitement," Oded shares. "I realized how much I was creating something here that brought me and my community to the center. The meetings with the performers were exciting, dialogues, ideas, sparks were created. It's not just a production, it's an experience that heals, that gives space to people who have felt on the margins for too long."
A vision to bring hearts closer together
The main message, he says, is bringing communities closer together. "I want people from the community and outside of it to meet, look each other in the eye, understand, connect. There's something beautiful about combining Hadar, Nordau, the locals and the artists into one colorful, bold and healing show."
The event, he said, is also about identity, identification, and the right to live courageously: "Our community doesn't always get a simple existence. We struggle, we survive, we celebrate. It's a celebration that has pain, but also a lot of joy. This is my way of saying: We are here. And that's important."
The project received great support from both the city's cultural institutions and the broader gay community.
"It's an amazing feeling when a city like Haifa embraces such initiatives, when the street feels safe, when the public space becomes a stage for creation, self-expression, dialogue."
Oded himself, a graduate of the Klipa Theater School, dancer, director, costume designer, and stage artist, draws into this project all the worlds of creation he has accumulated over the past few decades. "I see this fashion show as art in every sense of the word, a place where connections between styles are born, creating a community, creating a bridge."

when and where?

Something new is happening in Haifa. Something bold, colorful, proud, local and exciting. Zaza Tzadok not only brings Hadar and Haifa to new heights of creativity, he also fills it with light, love, courage and hope.
