Demonstration at Horev Junction: Benny Barbash, Ora Peled-Nekash, Erez Gavish • Saturday, 24/5/25

(Hai Fa) – An evening of civil protest is expected to take place today (Saturday, 24/5/25) at the Horev Intersection in Haifa, as part of the intensification of “people’s protest” activities across the country. Organizers are inviting residents of the area to join the march and demonstration calling for the return of the kidnapped, an end to the war, and a demand for fair elections.

Event schedule:

  • 18:30 – March from the auditorium
  • 19:30 – Speeches in Horeb

The public appeal reads:

“596 days to the day. 251 kidnapped. 58 still held captive – and the number of lives is dwindling.”

The demonstrators are expected to carry signs calling for the implementation of the protest's demands: the return of the kidnapped, an end to the fighting in Gaza, and general elections in Israel. Organizers emphasize the need for a broad presence: "Do you want change? Take to the streets!"

Among the speakers tonight:

  • Benny Barbash - screenwriter and writer
  • Ora Peled Nakash – a prominent activist in the fight for democracy
  • Erez Gavish – Captain (Res.) and activist in the “Brothers in Arms” and “We Are the Judaism of the Declaration of Independence” movements

Note to the public: There may be traffic disruptions at the Horev Intersection and its surroundings during the evening hours. The public is asked to prepare accordingly.

  1. Note the names of the speakers:
Benny Barbash, Ora Peled Nakash and Erez Gavish - the same people who agree with Yair Golan's words that our IDF soldiers "kill babies as a hobby" and continue to incite against the majority of the sane national people.

  2. This protest will feature 'Palestine' flags, and will mainly include people who still think that coexistence is possible between life-loving Israelis and those who have wanted their extermination for over 70 years.

  3. As part of the growing public protest…hahaha…..bored, miserable people. A polluted site is not “alive-here” but “dead-here”

  4. Psychopath Haifa. Ashamed of the city's residents who are disconnected from my reality.
    Rotten leftists

  5. How many sick people are there in the country? People who are convinced that they will sell the country. These are people who collaborate with Hamas and the extremists who want to destroy the country. I wonder if your parents have them.
    Jewish roots? Or traitors?

  6. They want to destroy the country. Take to the streets. What a beautiful protest. What sick people like you we have in this country. You have forgotten how much we fought for the Land of Israel.

    • What are you talking about? We love this country and that's why we're protesting against a war that doesn't lead to any victory, only to the death of soldiers. Next week this will be considered the longest war in the history of the country...Wake up!!!! And if your child was in the tunnels, wouldn't you take to the streets?
Civilians are sitting in captivity, tortured by monsters, and you want to continue a war that doesn't defeat Hamas!!!!!

  7. You have no right to clog the city streets every day! You are irresponsible in Haifa! The head is an old, demented man, a bad manager! You are a grumpy, lifeless old minority who is trying to engineer consciousness! We are here until complete victory! You son of a bitch, go do something useful, you devil!

  8. How nice to see that mentally ill B.I.B.s who would even sell their own children to preserve the rule of the scoundrel from Balfour are responding here.
Send your children to fight. We are not interested in sacrificing our children for Sara Netanyahu.

    • Absolutely not, there are also many right-wingers who are disappointed with Netanyahu's shuffling in Gaza, but they are responsible enough not to demonstrate in a time of war and weaken our army and state, and certainly not to propose candidates from the left and the extreme left like you who believe in peace and surrender.
On the contrary, I wish that after the return of the hostages and the surrender of the Palestinians from Hamas, there would be elections and Itamar would replace Netanyahu.

  9. A prominent activist in the fight for democracy – I didn't understand. So thanks to her we've been living in democracy here for 77 years??
What is this nonsense? It's like me defining myself as a prominent activist so that the sun will shine tomorrow. Or a prominent activist so that the sky is blue. When will someone arise who is a prominent activist to prevent the rot in the radical left?????

  10. shame on you.
Aren't you tired of disturbing all of us from living in peace every Shabbat?
When there are elections, try to be elected democratically.
You're fed up. You didn't understand that in Islam, a dead Jew is the agenda.
The government is democratically elected for four years.
In the next elections, the right will win again because the majority of the people are right-wing.
Keep shouting and waving signs. You are doing an excellent job for the terrorists and our enemies. They sit back and enjoy themselves. There are those who do the work for you.

    • It's a shame that there are Jews who are really stupid. It's a shame that the majority decides, not the few stupid people who make wind and wheeze. They're hypocrites. Go home. They want to give them a reward after they murdered most of the kidnapped Jews.

  11. Another demonstration by privileged people who can't see an inch beyond their noses. We'll see you holding such a demonstration in one of the city's neighborhoods located in the lower clusters of the city. (Bat Galim, Kiryat Eliezer, Sprinzak, Hadar, the lower city). Continue to live in Lala Land and imagine a virtual reality in which you are the "majority."

    • Honey, you suffer from severe feelings of inferiority and ongoing helplessness. There is a treatment for this,
And first, get off the couch, production, and go out and demonstrate.

  12. Even if you delete my message, I will spread it in every way and media! Lies and misleading the public! The same people are photographed in one photo to create the illusion of many protesters!!!! The lawsuit is on the way… Tomorrow I meet a lawyer!!!

  13. Come on, show that you want elections, there will be elections and you will lose. Will you accept the result?
    Or you want to determine
What will be the result? Who will be the coach, who will be the players, and if not, will the club be burned down?
This is what you are doing right now.
    They are burning the country.

  14. Yes, urgent elections
Benjamin Netanyahu and the right versus Yair Golan and the left
Besides blowing your whistle and disturbing drivers in your free time on the Sabbath, what benefit do you bring?

  15. A demonstration by anti-Semitic scumbags won't help anything. The right-wing bloc will bring 70 candidates in the next elections. The left is completely delusional.

  16. And if this were a right-wing demonstration, would you also publicize it like this?
And what you ignorantly referred to as "civil protest" is actually subversion against the state, especially during a multi-front war.
