(Hai Fa) – An indictment was filed against Roy Mizrahi and Almog Atias after they carried out a series of intelligence missions for elements operating on behalf of intelligence agencies in Iran..
The prosecutor's office told Hai Pa News Corporation:
The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Beersheba District Court against Roy Mizrahi and Almog Atias, 25, from Menashe, after they carried out a series of intelligence missions for elements operating on behalf of intelligence agencies in Iran..
According to the indictment, filed by Attorney Hila Dreamer-Yair of the Southern District Attorney's Office, Iranian officials contacted Mizrahi via the Telegram app. He received tasks from them that included collecting information on civilian infrastructure, documenting sensitive locations, transferring objects - as well as installing surveillance cameras in several areas of Israel.
Mizrahi received payment from the agents in cryptocurrencies, purchased operational equipment – including phones, cameras and SIM cards – and followed their instructions using encryption and remote control applications. As part of one of the tasks, he was asked to burn a note with the prime minister’s name on it, and in another – to find personal details about someone whose name he gave him. Mizrahi was asked to install a camera in a commercial center in Haifa or at a point overlooking the bay, but he refused and finally agreed to install a camera on a tree in the city of Nesher that recorded the street live and transmitted the footage to the agent.
Later, Mizrahi approached Atias and offered to join him on a mission – installing a camera in Moshav Kfar Achim, the residence of the Minister of Defense. The two purchased suitable equipment and drove to the installation area at night, but retreated when a vehicle passed by that they suspected belonged to the security forces. Later, when the Iranian agent demanded that Mizrahi plant the cameras elsewhere, Mizrahi refused. In response, the agent sent him a picture of Mizrahi’s face and wrote to him that he would “turn him over to the security forces.” Only after the threat did Mizrahi agree and plant the cameras in a spot in the south of the country.
Later, after the first agent cut off contact with him, Mizrahi tried to find a replacement agent. An agent who identified himself as "Guest" contacted him and assigned him additional tasks - including documenting cameras at a restaurant in Haifa and transporting a bag between two points. When Mizrahi noticed that the bag contained 10 packages that were predicted to contain explosives, he expressed concern that the packages would explode while being transported, but ultimately completed the task for 4,000 NIS.
In the arrest request filed at the same time, Attorney Dreamer-Yair stated, "... the respondents committed security offenses while the State of Israel was waging one of the most difficult wars it had ever known, on many fronts, including Iran. The respondents were aware that the foreign agents were hostile to the State of Israel, and yet they continued to cooperate with it. The respondents' actions were stopped thanks to the actions of the security forces, which led to their arrest."
Mizrahi was charged with the offenses of contacting a foreign agent, aiding the enemy in war, and carrying and transporting weapons. Latias was charged with the offense of contacting a foreign agent and providing information to the enemy with the intent to harm state security.
Well done to the security forces for stopping
Criminal spies in time of war.
To sentence them to long prison terms
In the dungeon.
For the sake of being seen and seen.
A Jew who, because of greed, did a lot against the state must spend his whole life in prison. If there was a death penalty, he should start thinking about it too. It's becoming a bad thing for them and they don't understand that they are hurting us all. Once upon a time, anyone who ate against the state had their whole family hurt because everyone slandered them.
