MDA reported:
At 17:09 PM, a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel area about an injured person from a violent incident. On Y.L. Peretz Street in HaifaMDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer a 25-year-old man to Rambam Hospital in serious condition with penetrating injuries.
Senior MDA paramedics Hai Takatch and Julian Dumet said:
"When we arrived at the scene, we saw the injured man, a man about 25 years old, with very serious penetrating injuries to his body. We were told that he had been involved in a violent incident. We provided him with initial and life-saving medical treatment on the spot, which included bandaging and stopping the bleeding, and evacuated him while continuing medical treatment to the trauma room at the hospital, where his condition is described as serious."
The police told Lai Pa:
Carmel Police from the Haifa Station opened an investigation shortly after receiving a report from medical officials about a seriously injured man who was evacuated for medical treatment from Y.L. Peretz Street in Haifa, apparently due to a fight that developed there.
Haifa police arrived at the scene immediately upon receiving the report and began collecting evidence together with forensic investigators as part of an investigation that was opened.
