(haipo) – An electric scooter caught fire in a residential apartment in Haifa.
From Fire and Rescue it was delivered to Lai Pa:
A report of an explosion heard on Masada Street in Haifa, followed immediately by heavy smoke coming from an apartment on the 3rd of 4 floors of a residential building, was received at the Haifa station.
Firefighters, under the command of Chief Yossi Cohen, quickly arrived at the scene and reported that the fire was actually outside the building.

It turns out that a child living in the house was charging the scooter, noticed the problem while it was charging, and immediately after the explosion and the battery caught fire, he showed resourcefulness and managed to throw the scooter into the garden, thus preventing danger to his own life and that of all the residents who were in the building at the time.

The fighters worked to extinguish the scooter outside the building and released the remaining smoke in the apartment for complete ventilation.
There were no injuries in the incident, but damage was caused to the apartment.
Fire and Rescue reminds that a scooter should only be charged under supervision, and of course, do not make any changes to the battery or charger, and only follow the original manufacturer's instructions.
I know a wonderful woman, who and her son (Zel) were burned in a car in Yamba that had a faulty battery.
Be very careful if the electricity
I don't understand, am I the only one who woke up at 4 am today from a very loud explosion in Haifa, somewhere in the Gulf area I guess based on where I live?
Amazing how this isn't in the news.
Charge a scooter? Or charge??
Large vehicles are taken for testing, so people rarely make prohibited modifications, yet electric cars catch fire all the time.
Small vehicles, like this scooter, are not supervised, so they are being upgraded in a dangerous way.
So are batteries, chargers, and other flammable and dangerous items.
When will electric bicycles be banned?
When they electrify the skates 🤦🏼
What does this have to do with electric bikes?
