(Live here in the studio) – On Friday, 23/5/25, a beach party will be held at the casino in Bat Galim. The purpose of the party is to make the information accessible to the public that the casino is actually submerged in water and that any change to this structure requires an environmental impact assessment. The party is being produced by the Galim Environment Forum, who are jointly leading the residents’ struggle against the plan to expand the casino into a large hotel.
Watch an interview with Aviv Nesher – a resident of the neighborhood and one of the event producers:

The corruption and endless collusion between Y.Y. and Dankner must be fully exposed.
The question is which local media outlet has the courage to come out against the municipality that feeds it with sponsored advertising on its behalf.
There needs to be a wake-up call about the relocation of the polluting factory from Atlit.
Check exactly how much election funding Y.Y. received from Mr. Dankner and Mr. Zeevi

Great interview, Aviv Nesher presents the casino conflict excellently. The main idea is that nothing is yet closed, everything is open. The struggle over the plan discussed in the district is alive, breathing and kicking. Hopefully, the decision-makers will internalize the fact that the waterfront belongs, of course, to the city's residents, but not only. It belongs to all of Israel and it is desirable that it be preserved as such. The vision must be more in the public interest than in the interest of the developer. There is no doubt that a seaside party is a wonderful tool for making the messages of the struggle headquarters accessible to the public and the Haifa municipality.
