(live here) – An electrical failure in the washing machine, which was left unattended, caused a fire.
From Fire and Rescue it was delivered to Lai Pa:
Firefighters from the Haifa station, under the command of Rabbi Reshef Ronen Atias, managed to control a fire that broke out in a private residence on Meir Rotenberg Street (Kiryat Eliyahu neighborhood) in Haifa, after a report was received of thick black smoke coming out of the windows of the house and increasing in intensity.

The fighters, who rushed to the scene quickly and with reinforced forces, did not receive information about any trapped people and began rapid scanning operations under heavy heat and smoke, and only after confirming that the house was empty did they take control of the fire and release the smoke.

The event ended without any casualties, but there was heavy damage to property and the house itself.
The Haifa station's investigation officer arrived at the scene and determined that the washing machine was likely left running unattended and an electrical failure in it led to the outbreak of the fire.
