(haipo) – A young man is admitted to Rambam with multiple systemic injuries after being hit by a vehicle while riding an electric bicycle.
MDA informed Lahi Pa:
At 11:34 (Tuesday, 20/5/25), a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel area about an electric bicycle rider who was hit by a vehicle on Ha'amakim Street in Kiryat Bialik.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer a 20-year-old man in serious condition with multi-system trauma to Rambam Hospital.
Senior medic from the MDA motorcycle unit, Itai Mazor, said:
"When we arrived at the scene of the accident, we saw the cyclist, a young man of about 20 years old, lying on the road after being hit by a vehicle. We immediately performed medical examinations and discovered that he was unconscious and suffering from severe multi-system trauma. We began to provide him with initial, life-saving medical treatment, which included bandaging and administering pain medication, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital in serious condition."
