The Israel Police informed the "Haifa News Corporation" today (Monday, 19/5/2025) that it has completed its preparations for the football match between the teams Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Super League, which will be held tonight at 20:30 PM at the "Sammy Ofer" Stadium in Haifa. The match will start at 20:30 PM. The gates will open at 18:00 PM.

Starting at 18:00 PM, the stadium gates will open to fans. Due to the expected strict inspection at the entrance gates, fans are advised to arrive at the stadium as early as possible.

Public Transport
In addition, a dense public transportation system (Line 1) will be established from the central area of the Krayot/Lev Hamifratz/Hof Carmel, which will receive priority on traffic routes and priority at traffic lights when arriving at the game. At the end of the game, a dense metro system will be installed in close proximity to the stadium on Highway 4 near the HaPsal intersection - the police are calling on the general public to use public transportation to optimize arrival and departure to and from the game.

- The police emphasize that activating and/or throwing flares during the game may lead to the immediate cessation of the game.
- It is mandatory to present an ID card - ID card/driver's license/passport at the stadium entrance gates. It will be possible to present a photocopy of the ID card on a cell phone.
- Inspection – At the entrance to the stadium, a stricter inspection than usual will be carried out, which, if necessary, will include an inspection in inspection tents and mirroring systems, and the security cameras at the entrance gates to the stadium will also be reinforced.
- There is a prohibition on bringing in items of clothing to cover the face – ski masks, etc. – in accordance with Israel Police guidelines and the Sports Law. A fan who arrives with this prohibited item will be subject to a fine of 500 NIS and will be banned from football games for 30 days.

- In any emergency, the instructions of the police and security personnel on site must be followed. The operation of drones during the game is strictly prohibited. Alcohol will not be allowed in the venue, and fans under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed. No weapons will be allowed into the stadium. Flares and other pyrotechnic devices are strictly prohibited - these are dangerous devices and enforcement will be carried out on this issue. A fan caught with flares or any other pyrotechnic equipment will be enforced in accordance with the provisions of the Sports Law. The introduction of cheering equipment is subject to police approval only. Crowd movement between gates and failure to comply with the instructions of the stewards or police officers stationed on site - constitutes a violation of the law and will be dealt with accordingly. The Israel Police calls on the crowd of fans to obey the instructions of the police and stewards, to avoid physical or verbal violence, to maintain the provisions of the law and public order before, during and after the game.
