The Haifa police station in the Hof district is working to eradicate crime in Rehovot, with an emphasis on the city's Hadar neighborhood. Last night, an investigation was opened immediately upon receiving a report of a woman who robbed an elderly man and fled the scene towards Barzilai Street.
A patrol team from the station quickly arrived at the scene and began searching, during which the police located a suspect on Barzilai Street who matched her description. The police arrested her on the spot, and during the search they conducted, the stolen phone was found.
As mentioned, the suspect, a 38-year-old resident of Rosh HaAyin, was arrested for questioning at the Haifa station and was subsequently imprisoned.
The court granted the police request and extended the suspect's detention until 21/05/25.
There is no police in Israel… I was robbed along with several other people on a bus and the police sent me a letter saying the investigation was over… in short, we will never know. There is no one to trust. This is the reality and we need to internalize it.
