(haipo) – A man was murdered and another man was moderately injured in Sold Park in Kiryat Yam. The injured are unknown at this stage, apparently homeless. The circumstances are unclear as of the time of publication of the article. We will update later, if there are additional details.
The police told Lai Pa:
Zevulun police opened an investigation shortly after receiving a report about two unknown men, apparently street dwellers, who were evacuated with signs of violence from Sold Park in Kiryat Yam to receive medical treatment at Rambam Medical Center. According to medical officials, one of the men, who was about 40 years old, was pronounced dead.
Police officers from the Zevulun Station arrived at the scene immediately upon receiving the report and began collecting evidence together with forensic investigators as part of an investigation that was opened.
MDA informed Lahi Pa:
At 19:08 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about 2 injured people in Kiryat Yam. MDA medics and paramedics determined the death of a 40-year-old man suffering from multi-systemic injuries and referred a 40-year-old man to Rambam Hospital in moderate condition with multi-systemic injuries. The circumstances of the incident are unclear.
MDA paramedic Alex Buchman said: "The two injured were lying in an open area behind the buildings, suffering from injuries all over their bodies. One of the injured was unconscious and after medical examinations, we had no choice but to declare him dead. The second injured person, who suffered injuries all over his body, was treated on the scene and was taken to the hospital in an MDA intensive care unit in moderate condition."
