(Hai Fa) – After 18 years of educational work: Hani Greenberg retires from her position as principal of Kiryat Haim High School
After 18 years of significant educational work – six of which were as principal of Kiryat Haim High School – Hani Greenberg is retiring. Greenberg, who began her managerial career as principal of the Irouni A Middle School, is considered a respected figure in the municipal educational arena, thanks to her ethical vision, personal approach and the innovation she has led over the years.
During her tenure as principal of Kiryat Haim High School, Greenberg led a series of initiatives that put students at the center: a steady increase in eligibility for matriculation, narrowing educational gaps, empowering students, and expanding emotional and social support. Under her leadership, the school became an active educational community, connecting students, teaching staff, and parents.
In her last year in office, Greenberg stood out for promoting innovative and groundbreaking initiatives: the school established the first high school FIFA E-SPORT league in Israel, launched a unique Minecraft course that combines technology, creativity, and project-based learning, and opened a prestigious cyber track in collaboration with the IDF - a move that creates an opportunity for students to excel technologically and integrate into meaningful service.
In her remarks on the occasion of the end of her position, Greenberg said:
"I say goodbye with a deep sense of satisfaction. I had the privilege of leading an educational community that believes in the ability of every student to succeed. I thank the amazing staff, parents, and students – who taught me every day what a true mission is."

Ilana Truk, head of the Education, Culture and Sports Administration in the Haifa Municipality, praised Greenberg's professional career:
"Hani is an educational and ethical leader who led the high school to excellence, innovation, and resilience – even during challenging times like the coronavirus, teacher sanctions, and the security situation. I thank her on behalf of the municipal education system and the entire city."
A tender will be announced soon to fill the position of principal of Kiryat Haim High School.
