According to data from the Pre-Child Safety Organization: In 2025, 3 children lost their lives in ATV accidents. The data also shows that in the last decade (2015-2024), 26 children lost their lives in ATV accidents. In the last decade, 232 cases of injuries in ATV accidents reached hospital emergency rooms.
Immediately after the news of Ra'if's death was announced, the Hadash faction in the city council issued an emotional condolence message, which read: "With deep pain and sorrow, we express our sincere condolences to the dear Abu El-Hija family in Haifa and Ein Hod, on the passing of their beloved Ra'if Muhammad Abu El-Hija.
