(haipo) – Demonstrations continue in Haifa, calling for a hostage deal and an end to the long war. The protesters are calling on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take responsibility for the failures of October 7 and the failure of the concept against Hamas and to resign, as others in the defense establishment have done.

Message from Haifa People's Protest Headquarters:
Haifaites and Haifaites, the brave inhabitants of the north
581 days AD
251 were kidnapped
59 are still being held captive. And the number of lives is dwindling.
The Qatargate affair is an affair in which the Prime Minister's people got rich from the hostages being held captive. There is nothing more horrifying than that (Rina Anati)
The money flowed before and after October 7. Those responsible for this are still office holders in the bureau.
The Prime Minister, some are being questioned by the police, some are burying their heads in the sand.
Meanwhile, the hostages are dying in Gaza, and two more soldiers were killed there yesterday. Five since the beginning of the week.
Ongoing betrayal.
We must put an end to this!
Support the strikers, take to the streets!
Tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th-
18:30- March from the auditorium
19:30- Gathering in Horeb
Speakers at the demonstration at Horev Junction:
- Dr. Oren Eran – A family doctor from Eshkol who closed his clinic and is active in rescuing the kidnapped.
- Yael Yehieli – Jerusalem activist, founder of the 5050 initiative for partnership and gender equality.
- Dror Gavish – A retired major who was dismissed from the army due to the protest. One of the leaders of the Guma protest, an evacuee who returned to Kibbutz HaGoshrim.
The demonstrations for the release of the kidnapped turned into political demonstrations with the aim of changing the government. Reminder: Government is determined in elections, not in demonstrations.
Respect to those who came. Shame on those who prefer to sit on the sidelines and criticize.
Is it possible to know how many pensioners came? In Haifa, the red color has probably faded long ago in light of the small number of Jews coming to the political show.
What a detail…
What a waste of time for an unnecessary demonstration. Mostly political. What a shame this gratuitous hatred
