MDA informed Lahi Pa:
On Saturday, 10/5/25, at 16:25 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area, about a worker who had been bitten by a snake (apparently a viper) in an agricultural area near the Atlit Interchange. MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment and referred a 30-year-old man to Rambam Hospital in serious and unstable condition with signs of a bite and poisoning.
Paramedic MDA Ahmed Zaidan said:
"We received a report of a worker who was bitten by a viper in an agricultural area. We arrived at the orchard, brought the man, about 30 years old, unconscious and suffering from life-threatening symptoms of a snakebite. We quickly began life-saving medical procedures and drug treatment, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital in a serious and unstable condition."
