Near the 77th Independence Day of the State of Israel, a ceremony for outstanding institutions of Clalit was held today, under the title 'Clalit is with you forever'.
In a festive ceremony, in the presence of the managements of all Clalit districts and hospitals and the workers' committees, the Haifa and Western Galilee district was declared outstanding among all the districts of the fund for 2024. The choice of HaEmek Hospital in Afula as the venue for the event was not accidental: it was intended to place the north at the center of the stage, precisely in a year in which the residents of the region faced serious security challenges. In addition, HaEmek Hospital marks the 100th anniversary of its establishment this year, a point in time that connects a long-standing medical tradition with innovation and contemporary resilience.

The largest and most complex of the general districts
The Haifa and Western Galilee District, the largest and most complex of the general districts, extending from Rosh HaNikra and the Lebanese border in the north to the settlements of the Carmel Coast in the south, the Mediterranean Sea in the west, the valleys, Yokneam and Kiryat Tivon in the east, successfully met the fund's strategic goals, and was recognized for its consistent leadership in all key areas of activity: service, medical quality, availability of appointments, technology, mental health, digital medicine, research and innovation, and more.

Particularly challenging security conditions
The district has operated over the past year and a half under particularly challenging security conditions, amid ongoing escalation on the front line in the north. Dozens of communities in the district evacuated their residents, many staff members were drafted into reserve service, and entire clinics were forced to operate under daily security threats. Despite all this, service to residents continued as usual and was even expanded.
Clalit CEO Eli Cohen welcomed the conference and said:
"There is no more symbolic and appropriate moment than saluting the people who are the beating heart of Clalit, you, the employees of Clalit."
Health is an integral part of our independence, and Klali, which has been here for over a century, continues to accompany the country in all its stages, from its establishment to current challenges, in routine and emergency situations.
"The Haifa and Western Galilee District excelled this year and led in Clalit's strategic goals, including medical quality and patient experience, thereby setting an example of professional and dedicated work even in a challenging reality."
Ronen Nudelman, Director of the Haifa and Western Galilee District at Klalit, said excitedly with the announcement:
"This is a great pride, especially in a year when uncertainty was an integral part of routine, the residents of the north knew they had someone to rely on. Tens of thousands of evacuees, active battle lines, medical systems that required flexibility and speed of response, and amidst all of this, the district stood like a solid rock."
"I thank from the bottom of my heart all the district employees, all of whom worked together, with boundless dedication, to enable the residents of the north to receive professional, continuous and humane medicine even in the most difficult times."
"This achievement belongs to everyone, to employees from all sectors, to our partners in local authorities and the community, and especially to the patients who trust us every day. We will continue to serve you at all times."

Throughout the district, from the major cities to the remote and isolated rural communities, Clalit operates one of the most advanced medical systems in the country, including large specialist and consultant centers, a network of community emergency rooms, community operating rooms, advanced imaging centers, and extensive home hospitalization medical services.
Thanks to the combination of operational flexibility, proper management of emergency routines, and professional and dedicated teams, the Haifa and Western Galilee District has become an example and model of how a public health system can excel even in a busy environment and an ongoing security crisis.
If they are so outstanding, why did I get an appointment for plastic surgery about eight months after my first contact???
Congratulations and good luck!!!
Continue to prosper and glorify the name of the district in the future.

Call at the end of the month... I call and they say call at the beginning of the month, I call and they say call again at the end of the month... That's excellent....
