(haipo) – Israel Fire and Rescue Commissioner, Rabbi Eyal Caspi, issued a sweeping order on Thursday, May 8, 2025, prohibiting the lighting of bonfires and fires in open areas and areas marked as flammable throughout the country. The order will go into effect on Friday, May 09.5.2025, 08, at 00:18.5.2025 AM, and will last until Sunday, May 23, 59, at XNUMX:XNUMX PM.
Lag BaOmer this year will fall from Thursday evening, May 15, 2025, to Friday, May 16, 2025.
Dryness, strong winds and a heat wave
The order is based on the National Fire and Rescue Authority’s 2015 regulations, in light of the expected extreme weather conditions, including drought, strong winds, and a heat wave. These conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires – as we have experienced in past years on Lag BaOmer.
The order clarifies that the prohibition also applies to any significant lighting of fire, including working with an open flame, for the purpose of grilling meat, cooking, or any other use of fire outdoors.

It's lucky they didn't cancel Passover because of the dust from the matzos that bothers the Asmatis... but the privileged might do that next year as another effort to cancel Jewish identity.
Training areas at sea is very dangerous, the sea can catch fire especially if you worry about a fire crew nearby.
Amazing 🤦🏼
Where are the areas that were trained by our esteemed local authority from??!
