Tuesday 6/5/24 We inaugurated the Alon Center in Tirat Carmel – the first center in the country to provide treatment for men in life crises, residents of the city and the entire region. The center was established at the initiative of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Security, Joint Ashalim and the Tirat Carmel Municipality, and will provide treatment, guidance and support for men, individually or in groups, face-to-face or online, with the aim of reducing risk situations and strengthening the family unit.

In his remarks, Minister Yaakov Margi said:
The Alon Center is an important and central pillar in a broad concept of social responsibility and the prevention of crisis situations within the family.
The festive ceremony was attended by Minister of Social Affairs, Yaakov Margi; Mayor, Dudu Cohen; CEO of Joint-Ashalim, Shlomi Cohen; Deputy Mayor and Social Affairs Portfolio Holder, Kfir Ovadia; Director of the Social Affairs Department, Eitna Sar-Shalom; senior officials from the district administration, the municipality administration, and partner organizations; and employees of the municipality's Social Affairs and Social Services Department. The new center will be managed by Limor Markman-Gefen from the Social Affairs Department.

The opening of the Alon Center in Tirat Carmel is another significant step in promoting and developing innovative services for the city's residents and the entire region, expressing an approach that contributes not only to the individual, but also to strengthening the entire social fabric.
