(Hai Fa) – A seventh-grade student from the Haifa Municipal Division 13 took first place in the Israeli Championship for XNUMX-year-olds and added a fifth victory this year in the State Cup.

Shaliu Reznik, a seventh grade student at the school Urban G. Haifa, is undoubtedly one of the biggest promises of local sports: last week (March 25.3) she took first place in the Israeli Championship Mountain biking for ages 13, and last Friday she recorded another victory – Fifth in the year number – As part of a round State cup.
Shaliu has been training at the "Masters Haifa" club since the age of 9, and is already considered a leading rider in her age group in Israel. This is an especially challenging sport, requiring physical fitness, high technique, coordination, and mental toughness in the face of difficult terrain conditions such as mud, rocks, and steep slopes.

In her words after winning, Shaliu said: "There are quite a few challenges along the way—painful falls, moments of crisis, pressure, but the will to continue always wins." The terrain I don't give up and I don't give up on him... My goal is to represent Israel in European competitions!"

Ilana Truk, head of the Education, Culture and Sports Administration in the Haifa Municipality, congratulated Shalio: "Shalio is a source of pride for Haifa. The perseverance, seriousness and values she demonstrates are an example and role model for many. The Haifa Municipality will continue to encourage and nurture young athletes out of a belief in the importance of sports education from a young age."
