At a festive evening held on Thursday, May 1.5.25, 2025, at the Remez Sports Hall in Kiryat Ata, Mr. Yehezkel (Hezi) Biran was crowned one of the city's XNUMX Beloveds, as a token of appreciation for his many years of volunteerism and significant contribution to improving the quality of life of the residents of Kiryat Ata.

Biran, 69, is particularly notable for his dedicated volunteer work at the Clalit Clinic in Kiryat Binyamin, Haifa and Western Galilee District, where he has been working for the past six years. As part of his volunteer work, Biran dedicates his time to promoting community health by connecting with patients and inviting them for important medical tests and quality indicators, a significant contribution to the health of the city's residents.

Alongside his activities at Clalit, Biran has also volunteered as a senior citizen consultant at the National Insurance Institute for about 19 years, and at the Welfare Office in Kiryat Ata for about 12 years, making him a significant figure in promoting the well-being of the city's elderly population. The moving ceremony was attended by senior public figures, including Mayor Mr. Yaakov Peretz, Deputy Mayor Mr. Maimon Toledano, and the Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Ata, Rabbi Diskin. Along with Biran, 11 other residents were crowned as city dignitaries, in recognition of their unique contributions to the community.
