Who knows and who knows where Hadassah Street is in Haifa? Well, going down Pika Street from "Center Horev" - the first street on the right - is Hadassah Street. It is only about 150 meters long and ends at Hanatka Street. There are no houses on it, except for a residential house on its upper side that "belongs" to Hanatka Street. At the entrance to Hadassah Street, there is a blue sign in the shape of an arrow attached to a post (in the photo). It says: "To Hadassah Street from Nos. 2-4."
Many are wondering: What does it mean? There are no houses on this street, so why the numbers? It turns out that the sign is intended to determine the location of... traffic offenders! The response from the municipality's spokeswoman clarifies the "mystery": "In the place where the sign is placed, there is a red-and-white marking on the edge of the sidewalk, indicating that parking and stopping are prohibited. The placement of the sign is intended to help (inspectors) create an accurate identification of the location in the event of registering parking tickets there."
Original, isn't it?

Regarding the Hadassah Street sign: There are two detailed signs. One at the Hanatka-Hadassah intersection. The second up the Pika road towards Horev. On the right, opposite Hadassah Street. According to my memory – it refers to Queen Esther. Her name was also Hadassah.
Is this the last problem left in the city? Other than that, everything is fine?
And why is there no detail about who Hadassah was and what the street is named after, a text that appears on every street name sign??
The sign was placed so that they would ask this question hahahaha
