As part of the 33rd round, the Haifa Derby took place, this time hosted by Maccabi Haifa, at the Sami Ofer Municipal Stadium, most of which was painted green.
In all three meetings this season between the two, Hapoel Haifa failed to win and they arrived determined to break the streak. As is known, the derby is not only a game about points but also about control of the city and both teams arrived at the game to put their mark on the last derby of the 24/25 season.

Minute 73 – Sabrina lifts a ball to Abdulai Sek’s head – out.
Minute 78 – Another chance from a Hapoel corner that goes wide near the post.
Minute 79 – Sabrina sends a cross from the right side of the box, Guy Melamed is free in front of the goal, making it 5:1.
Minute 85 – Another ball from Sabrina reaches Dia Saba, who tries from the air but the ball is deflected off the goal line.

Hapoel Haifa breaks the statistics, the streak of derby games this season, and the green net, in the last meeting between the two this season.
Absolute shock on both sides of the field at Haifa's Municipal Stadium as Hapoel Haifa defeats Maccabi Haifa and finds it exposed once again, taking advantage of opportunities and painting the city red tonight.
If Zuhair Bahloul had been the broadcaster yesterday, he would have phrased the result of the game this way: "The green grass at Sami Ofer was painted red (in shame) in light of the display of failure and humiliation by the Maccabi Haifa players.
