Announcement from the Municipality of Tirat Carmel
Dear residents and residents,
In recent hours, we have conducted several situation assessments following an exceptional forecast by the Meteorological Service.
In light of the extreme weather conditions expected tonight – strong winds, intense heat, and the risk of fires – and after consulting with all security and rescue agencies, we have made a difficult but binding decision:
Independence Day events planned for tonight will be canceled.
The decision was made out of deep responsibility, and out of a complete commitment to the safety of the residents.
Your safety and health are always our top priority.
We will celebrate together later, at happier and safer events.
Happy Independence Day!
The question: Could it have been postponed until Saturday? Until then, let's hope that the entire "event" will end peacefully: both in terms of the "fires" and the "weather in the air"... After all, it is important to celebrate "Independence 77" = for the sake of the "Jewish state" and the "morale" of its citizens...!@🤗☺️☺️😂😭
Pruning, thinning, moving trees and shrubs away from houses are not rude words….
What is happening to the Haifa Municipality? Why hasn't it yet announced the cancellation of the celebrations, as many responsible municipalities have done before it?
Only in Tirat Carmel? All over the country, the air raids were canceled by the rescue force and the fire department.
