Israeli police officers from the Carmel Coastal District have completed their preparations for the Memorial Day ceremonies for the fallen of Israel's armed forces and victims of hostilities, and the 77th Independence Day celebrations. Hundreds of police officers, soldiers and volunteers will work to maintain public safety, public order and traffic control, while responding quickly to any scenario.
Traffic and transportation arrangements in the city of Haifa – Memorial Day (29–30.4.25)

- Train – It is recommended to arrive at the Hof Carmel station, from where a direct shuttle will depart to the ceremony.
Entry to the parking lots will only be permitted to those with a special permit from the Soldier Commemoration Unit or those with a disabled card.
Independence Day Eve in Haifa – Wednesday, 30.4.25:
Closures in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood:
- Ratner Street will be closed to traffic from 18:00 PM to 23:00 PM.
- Central performance area – closures between 15:00 PM and 04:00 AM:
- Ha'atzmaut Street (from Pal-Yam intersection to Bank Street)
- Starting at 18:00 PM:
- Haginim Road (from Rothschild Street to the Pal-Yam intersection) – open to public transportation only
- Ben Gurion Street – blocked from UNESCO Square to Dagon Junction
- Travel from Jaffa to Amwaj will not be possible.
- It will not be possible to turn into Jaffa from Dolphin Junction.

Additional traffic blockages:
- From the Yeruham Zeizel intersection (near police headquarters) – a block towards Ha'atzmaut Street, vehicles will be diverted to HaGiborim Street.
- Starting at 16:00 PM – Blockades on Highways 22 and 75 towards the Hiram Interchange, vehicles will be diverted to the Haletz Interchange.
Parking and towing prohibition:
- Starting at 12:00 – Parking will not be allowed on the streets: Hanamal, Palmer and Independence (between Palmer and Bank Street). Parked vehicles will be towed.

From 15:00 PM to 02:00 AM the following streets will be closed:
- Ariel Sharon St., corner of Hegel St.
- Narcissus St., corner of Anemone
- Jabotinsky Square – Appeal to Ariel Sharon
- Nesher Station Preparations – Wednesday, 30.04
- Derech Hashalom Street will be blocked from 10:00 AM to 02:00 AM, between Avraham Peretz Street and Barak Street.
