The National Maritime Museum will host a creative workshop – “A Window to Hebrew Shipping,” in which participants will return to the beginnings of Hebrew shipping and the Port of Haifa, and create an opening window from which the port can be viewed, using a historical black-and-white photo, to which they will add color and passenger and merchant ships. The activity is free and intended for children ages 5 and up, accompanied by an adult.

According to Yifat Stern Levy, Marketing Manager of Haifa Museums:
Independence Day is an opportunity for museums to connect the public with our heritage and culture. The variety of exhibitions, guided tours, and creative workshops ensures a cultural, enriching, and fun experience for the whole family. Haifa's museums are an integral part of the city's cultural fabric, and we are proud to be part of the city's Independence Day celebrations.
