As part of preparations for Independence Day events, streets in lower Haifa will be closed to traffic:
- Nathanson Street in Haifa will be closed to vehicle traffic during the day, starting Sunday, April 27, 4, until Sunday, May 5, 4. However, the street will be open to traffic in the evenings and during the weekends.
- Kiat Street will be closed to vehicle traffic until Independence Day, April 30, 4, from the intersection of Jaffa Street to Independence Street. During these days, Nathanson Street will remain open throughout the day and night, and will not be closed as it is every day.
On the eve of Independence Day, many additional streets in the lower city will be closed, in order to hold Independence Day celebrations. Detailed information on this subject will be sent later.
Please take alternative routes.
Usually, streets are not closed for Independence Day preparations, but only on Independence Day eve, where the crowds are.
There is nothing to celebrate. What are we going to celebrate, that the government of destruction is still in office? That 59 people are still being kidnapped? That the best among us are being killed just so that the purple tyrant can have a chair?
