(haipo) – According to Israel Police data processed by the Madelan website – Haifa ranks fourth in the country in crime. The city’s Hadar neighborhood is at the top of the crime chart, and the neighborhoods display crime figures higher than the national average.
National crime data for 2024, published by the Israel Police and processed by analysts at the Madelen website, paint a particularly alarming picture – Haifa ranks fourth in the country in the number of criminal cases opened in its territory, with a total of 6,662 cases. The city is ahead of Rishon LeZion, Petah Tikva and Ashdod, and ranks immediately after Tel Aviv-Yafo, Jerusalem and Beersheba – the three largest crime hotspots in the country.
The jump in the number of crimes in the city is mainly due to an increase in property crimes (2,449 cases), public order (2,135 cases) and personal offenses (1,119 cases). In addition, the city also recorded 391 fraud offenses, 219 moral and drug offenses, 167 economic offenses, 93 sex offenses, 39 security offenses and 22 licensing and traffic offenses.
Hadar Carmel – National Crime Hotspot
Specifically within Haifa, the Hadar Carmel neighborhood stands out negatively and ranks at the top of the list of neighborhoods with the highest number of offenses in Israel – 1,319 criminal cases were opened in the neighborhood in 2024.
Of all the offenses in the neighborhood:
- 725 property offenses
- 372 Physical Offenses
- 206 moral offenses (three times the national average).
- 12 security violations
- 4 sex offenses
Compared to last year, Hadar Carmel actually recorded a slight decrease in the number of property crimes (from 888 in 2023 to 725 in 2024), but still ranks fifth nationally in this category.
Sharp increase in property crimes in additional neighborhoods
According to the report, one of the most impressive jumps was recorded in Ramat Eshkol in Haifa – an increase of 115% compared to the previous year. Nearby cities, such as Karmiel, also recorded a particularly sharp increase in property crimes – a jump of 112%, and the city even appears twice in the top ten of the list.
The Krayot bypass Haifa
A disturbing surprise emerges from comparing the data to the surrounding cities: In Kiryat Ata and Kiryat Bialik, over 8,000 criminal offenses were recorded each – more than in the city of Haifa, despite the fact that their number of residents is significantly smaller. This figure indicates that crime hotspots are no longer limited to the big cities, but are spreading to the satellite cities.
Crime has become a burning public issue
Since 2023, when the publication of the data was stopped at the initiative of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, crime data has become a subject of public controversy. Following a legal battle by the Freedom of Information Movement, the 2023 data was finally revealed, and it was not until July 2024 that the previous year's data was also published.
"The data shows that crime does not disappear – it changes address," reads one of the letters sent by the civil organizations to the ministry. In light of this, Haifa and the suburbs continue to be a focus for increased police activity, and the need for transparency, a determined fight, and strengthening personal security is at the heart of the agenda of residents, local authorities, and security forces.
When the mayor and his gang are criminals, what's the wonder? They are busy shooting with firearms at night, destroying baby animals and mothers, killing wild animals with sticks and attacking residents. At the same time, the most corrupt municipality in the country that steals from its residents every day. Monstrous property taxes, draconian fines that are unmatched anywhere else!!! Shame and disgust. Anyone who wants a normal life should flee Haifa as soon as possible.
Satisfaction with the wild boar culling is around 80 percent of the public.
You treat wild boars like pets, we saw with sharks what happens when the public thinks they are pets. The depletion must continue and those who oppose it are delusional and endanger public health.
This snapshot reflects the offenses that were reported to the Israel Police and for which action may have been taken. It does not include the offenses that were reported to the Israel Police and for which no action was taken.
Crime data does not necessarily indicate the identity of the perpetrators of the crime, but rather the location of the crime itself.
The increase in crime in the Krayot, for example, can also be explained by my proximity to the villages and cities of the north, for example, and not necessarily because all the perpetrators of the crime come from there.
The same is true in Haifa within the neighborhoods themselves; for example, a property offender from, say, the Halisa neighborhood who committed, say, a property offense in the Carmel neighborhood is considered a property offense in Carmel.
For example, a Yokneam resident who came to work in Krayot, let's say, ran a red light or had an accident on her way home from work, is considered a traffic violation in Krayot.
Haifa and the Krayot are a large transportation metropolis and are also places of livelihood and entertainment, and therefore statistically the crime figures there will be high even before the population concentrations within the neighborhoods.
On the other hand, residential neighborhoods in towns and villages in the north are not really accessible to strangers, so statistically there will be fewer crimes there.
And what is the mayor busy with….???
The Amalek seed is rampaging through the city streets, backed by a rotten, arrogant, and detached Ashkenazi leftist leadership.
Until when will the city be run by hollow, tired, old Ashkenazi people who are devoid of vision, devoid of values, and unconnected to the Jewish people, like Yahav the Arch-Terrorist or like the worst mayor in the history of mankind.
The face of the city is like the face of the demonstrations in Horeb: a bone in the throat, against the state, support for Arabs, arrogant Ashkenaziness, and life in the movie.
Busy wondering if his picture appears enough in the media
This is what the elderly people at the Haifa Municipal Nursing Home really like to see their names in the media all the time.
They send each other articles like "Look how they filmed me" or "Here I am in the auditorium, they filmed me"
This is how – useless boomers rob us of the future for their budget pensions to travel the world
You forgot to mention Kiryat Haim Western...
In the last two years, the situation in the neighborhood has deteriorated severely! Teenagers and younger children sitting in the public gardens, walking around the buildings and disturbing the neighbors until the wee hours of the night with music, screaming, shouting and vandalism. Has anyone seen the supervision in the area?
The inspectors are busy handing out 800 NIS fines to elderly women who dare to feed a miserable street cat. They have a budget for inspectors like this 24/7
Do an experiment-
Call 106 and say there's an elderly woman feeding a cat, and at the same time call the city hall or the police for that matter and say you're being attacked right now by a drunk/drugged/armed resident.
And you'll see how you'll give an inspector 10 minutes at most to come and file a report, and you'll continue to wait over an hour until the police kindly come to save you from the attack.
There is no such thing as service to a resident in Haifa. For those who don't understand, they are a bunch of robbers who are only interested in stealing, not letting them put money into the municipal treasury. Anything that can't bring them money, money as a whole, doesn't interest them!! As far as they are concerned, you don't care if you die.
What wouldn't you sacrifice for coexistence, right, Yona Yahav? You deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
Yahav and Kalish are a deadly cocktail of destruction and failure. It's not just that the city employees danced when Yahav returned, they do whatever they want in the city hall. The police are not in the field, not on the streets. The city hall and the inspectors do nothing, they drive from place to place. Illegal parking on sidewalks. Deaths on the roads. Hundreds of robberies and break-ins to businesses. And the city employees, with the property tax robbery, sit in Hassan Shukri and make a shopping list in the afternoon - okay, what do we care??
A quarter of Haifa municipality employees don't even live in Haifa.
They live in other cities, for them it's just a place to work.
They sign a card and that's it. This city doesn't interest them, they only care about what benefits the Histadrut has to offer.
Or what can my husband do with coupons from a friend's organization or some other organization that abandons and neglects robbers?
We have a bonus gift for the holidays. And where they travel with the family in the summer – that's what interests them…
Very sad, but we in Hadar warn and warn and they don't hear us!!
In which Western country is the Minister of National Security a criminal without any personal ties? Just see and hear the people he appoints to senior positions and you immediately understand why crime is rising. This is exactly what the Haifa police look like, completely abandoning the safety of citizens without shame. I can't remember such lawlessness since I was a child.
After I complained about a robbery on 13.01 in the afternoon, they closed the case on 14.01, and this was after I sent them all the details that Bank Leumi provided me, even a picture of one of the robbers and what the police did with them? Nothing.
The problem is unbearable. Citizen safety is at a standstill. Enforcement is almost non-existent. There is no deterrence in all neighborhoods of Greater Haifa. The joint policing that was established with promises is not giving its signals. Crime is rampant without restraint. Home break-ins are fearless on a daily basis. Vehicle theft and theft. Haifa, with all due respect, with the tongue hanging out without an adequate response.
The result of a non-deterrent judicial system
We need a comprehensive reform and minimum sentences, and police who will not be afraid or discouraged because criminals are released through a revolving door in the courts.
It's time for the prosecution to deal not with the fish and chips, but with the criminal gangs that have become a lucrative business that employs dozens of criminals who charge protection at construction sites, businesses, and even high-tech parks. Uprooting them is a must.

The police station on the street in Halutz, at the corner of Shmaryahu Levin, was also closed. They're not helping anyway!!
All the Civil Guard stations were closed. The traffic department, which included about 100 police officers and volunteers, was reduced to an absolute minimum. In short, there is no appropriate response, shame.
This is how it is when you have cousins who came from all over. Think for a moment. Who turned Hadar Hadar into a crime center? It's definitely not Hasidic and Vishnitsa.
As it seems, a person sitting as the head of the city and in general governments, a person of flesh and blood, is unable to put an end to crime and other problems. They only provide a temporary solution, such as installing cameras on the street and amplifying police patrol cars. But they cannot eradicate things from the root. This is known from the dawn of history. Whoever reads the Psalms in chapter 3, verses 4-4, it says there: Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation. XNUMX His spirit goes out, he returns to his ground; in that day his thoughts perish. And it is also written in the Bible: I know that the LORD is good, for he does not To man his way is; it does not belong to man who walks to direct his steps. But what do you think, will God’s Kingdom eradicate or put an end to similar problems? Such as crime, violence, and more..?
Get rid of the Swedes, get rid of the crime.
At some point or in stages, approximately 98% of all humanity and between 87% and 94% of Israeli Jews will be destroyed!
why?:
Because you hate God and the Jewish religion!
What is this mainly expressed in?:
In your hatred of communism implemented by urban and rural kibbutzim!!!
If you lived in a traditional/religious, militant-military Jewish urban kibbutz, then they would hardly dare to mess with you!
Because it is well known that government (almost every government and at every period in history) with all its branches, including the police, the courts, and the various enforcement bodies, is a body that is both dictatorial and corrupt and gangster! So who and what do you expect from them?!
