(live here) – But a heavy burden fell on the academic community in Haifa and the north upon learning of the sudden death of Dr. Noam Kol Ron, a philosophy lecturer at the University of Haifa, Gordon Academy, and the Technion. Dr. Kol Ron felt unwell during a class at the University of Haifa yesterday (Monday, 21/4/25), his condition deteriorated, and he died in the hospital.
Dr. Kol Ron, a resident of Moshav Nir Etzion, left behind a wife and four children. He left behind a trail of educational and intellectual activity, and many students who were privileged to learn from him not only ideas, but also values and deep humanity.
He began his academic career as a student in the philosophy department at the University of Haifa, where he completed his doctorate, and where he also became a respected faculty member. His teaching and research areas included, among others, the history of philosophy, philosophy of education, ethics in a technological age, politics and education. Cole Ron also lectured at the Brauda Academic College of Engineering in Karmiel and at the Gordon College of Education – always at eye level, always with a smile, always with a desire to touch.

Prof. Arnon Keren, head of the philosophy department at the University of Haifa, paid tribute to him: "Our Noam, who was a lecturer in the department and before that a student in it, was a great lecturer, a brilliant student, and a true friend. He was a wonderful person – radiant, full of wisdom and a lover of wisdom. This is a difficult loss for all of us."
The news was also received with deep sadness at the Technion, where he taught philosophy to medical students. The student council wrote: "With great sadness, we were informed today of the passing of Dr. Noam Kol Ron, our philosophy lecturer. After feeling unwell during a class at the University of Haifa, his condition deteriorated and, unfortunately, he passed away. May his memory be blessed."
The Academic College of Engineering in Brauda stated: "We are saddened by the untimely passing of Dr. Noam Kol Ron. His clear voice, sensitive approach, and ability to convey big ideas with moving simplicity - we will miss him greatly."
The death of Dr. Cole Ron leaves a heavy void in the hearts of students, colleagues, and friends. His quiet but determined, so humane figure is a great loss to the world of teaching, thought, and compassion.
"These things reveal how great the power of the wise man is, and how much he is superior to the power of the ignorant man who is driven to his actions by lust alone. For not only is the ignorant man shaken in many ways by external causes and never reaches a state of true mental satisfaction, but he lives in a kind of unconsciousness of himself, of God, and of things; and when he ceases to feel, he ceases to be. On the other hand, the wise man, insofar as he is discussed as such, is hardly shaken in spirit, but, conscious of himself, of God, and of things out of a certain eternal necessity, he never ceases to be, and he always experiences true mental satisfaction.
Even if the path leading to all this seems very difficult, as I have shown, it can still be traced. Indeed, what is found so rarely must involve great efforts. After all, if the salvation of the soul were available to us and we could find it without much effort, how could it be that almost everyone has abandoned it? But everything excellent is difficult, just as it is rare.
Simply sad and so, so painful. Simply unbelievable. A lecturer with the grace of God, unique in a generation. A very talented person, a dear lecturer, so humane and thoughtful and super professional. Explains everything pleasantly and with a smile as many times as necessary. I had the privilege of studying with him.
Noam Ron was an outstanding lecturer. He helped me a lot in submitting my research for my final certificate. He was always helpful and a listening ear. He was a huge help. He will be missed by students studying at the university. May his memory be blessed.
Very sad for the family, society, and humanity that lost what could have contributed to all of humanity.
My heart hurts, so young.
Of blessed memory
May his memory be blessed. A man with wonderful values and giving. We share in the sorrow of his family and friends.
That's all from the projector shots.
Too many young people are hearing about sudden deaths. How scary. Is there a chance it could be from the coronavirus vaccines?.?..?
Thank you for writing. Everyone is eulogizing and comforting and not linking that they are next in line because they supported an experiment that is sure to be effective in eliminating and thinning the population.
Keep sticking your ostrich head in the ground. The degrees have taken away from you the ability to analyze and understand reality. 1 plus one simple. Go get a D-dimer blood test. Look for spike protein in the bloodstream.
Enter the website of Urho. Wake up already, you learned zombies with degrees.
How many die suddenly. Young.
I wonder if it has anything to do with Pfizer injections?
What's the matter, it's the most effective and safest, a good friend at work died of cardiac arrest 24 hours after the first vaccination, there is no connection and no bridge.
May his memory be blessed 😥
What was his age?

A great lecturer, as his name suggests, Noam Naim has a great personality. Years ago, he accompanied me to my master's thesis and I enjoyed every moment.
