The Donia Weizmann Conservatory – the first conservatory in Haifa – celebrates 100 years of musical, educational and cultural activity!
The Conservatory was founded in 1924 by a group of music teachers, including Ms. Gita Dunia-Weizmann, sister of the first President of the State, Chaim Weizmann. The founders of the Conservatory were also among the founders of the Hadar neighborhood and made a significant contribution to shaping the cultural image of Haifa in its early days.
Over the years, the Conservatory has trained generations of outstanding students, many of whom have developed musical careers in Israel and around the world. Today, the institution continues to operate professionally and with constant renewal, offering a variety of tracks – from piano and string instruments to jazz studies, singing and unique programs for early childhood.

On the occasion of the centennial celebrations, we invite you to a special event that will take place:
Thursday, 08.05.2025 • at 19:30 • Conservatory Hall, 12 Bezalel St., Haifa
The event will include an exciting concert featuring conservatory graduates and current students, as well as a fascinating review by Association for Haifa History About the history of the place, its activities and its contribution to urban culture.
And in the presence of the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Yossi Shalom.

And will be carried out by teachers, students and alumni.
