Carmel Area traffic accident investigators have begun investigating the circumstances of a self-inflicted car accident involving a motorcyclist on Ibn Gvirol Street in Haifa.
According to medical officials, as a result of the accident, the rider was taken to Rambam Hospital in critical condition for medical treatment.
Haifa police forces, along with Carmel Area traffic accident investigators, are at the scene and have begun investigating the circumstances of the accident.

At 21:55 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a motorcyclist who slipped while riding on Ibn Gvirol Street in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics are providing medical treatment and referring an 18-year-old young man to Rambam Hospital in critical condition while undergoing CPR.
MDA Israel paramedics Weissblom and David Nisman said: We arrived at a very serious accident. The motorcyclist who was thrown from the motorcycle was lying among bushes on the side of the sidewalk, unconscious. He had a very severe head injury and upon examination, he was without a pulse and was not breathing. We began performing advanced CPR and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital while we continued to fight for his life.
