(Hai Fa) – Dr. Rana Shibli, Haifa District Physician, signed on Wednesday, 30/4/2025, a cancellation of an administrative stop order for the "Tavon Zaman" restaurant, 73 Abba Khushi Street, Usfiya.
The article was originally created on 11/4/25:
By order of Haifa District Physician Dr. Rana Shibli, an immediate administrative closure order was issued on April 11, 2025 for the “Tavon Zaman” restaurant in Isfaia, following a sanitary inspection conducted on site. The reason for the order – a real concern for public health.
The inspection was conducted after three cases of food poisoning were reported, during which serious and significant structural sanitary deficiencies were discovered: lack of a business license, use of meat from unauthorized suppliers, poor storage of food products, poor equipment hygiene, signs of mold and rust, the presence of flies, and dangerous kitchen infrastructure that includes a serious concern for cross-contamination.
Additionally, during the inspection, many food products were destroyed due to improper storage conditions. It was reported that the location will remain closed until further notice, and its reopening will be conditional on correcting all deficiencies and presenting appropriate evidence.
The business owner is entitled to a hearing and can file a motion to cancel the order with a Magistrate's Court. However, until a different decision is made, the order is effective immediately. A copy of the order was also sent to the Israel Police and senior officials at the Ministry of Health.
It's tough to run a business and make a profit, the prices are very high.
Diners and people using these services please be courteous.
Really exaggerated and not true, a really good and delicious restaurant
The salads and pastries are prepared on site, fresh hummus is made every day and fresh, warm bread is baked.
The arrest warrant is unfair.
A restaurant that contributed greatly to the war, both to soldiers and evacuees, and the harassment of Druze businesses before the holiday season began. Small deficiencies can be given to the business a period of time to fix and come to a repeat audit and not harm their livelihood.
A business whose food is delicious and clean and has been providing service for over 20 years and has never had a single problem.
A year ago, a local Druze advised me not to eat at Tabun Zin and told me that the Druze know that the place is unhygienic, so I don't trust the owner and won't eat there.
Delicious food
Healthy and at the best price on the market
For years we have been coming from the center to eat at Tabun Zaman
And every time we return to a better level
Another restaurant that closes with noise and ringing bells over serious sanitation problems, then reopens in two days
The inspection of the Tabun was excessive, with only minor defects and not as written in the closure order. Hundreds of visitors and guests ate and ate there every day and nothing happened, God willing, but there are some people trying to smear the business.
Nonsense
Well done to the Ministry of Health, excellent.
Excessive and incorrect message!!
The restaurant has been around for over 20 years with the same taste and the same food.
The food is not only fresh but also delicious and with a special flavor.
People travel especially to eat there, go visit there on the weekends and you will see the amount of people there and that just speaks volumes about how good the restaurant is.
It's unfair to stop a business that has been around for over 20 years and has never encountered a problem!!
