The Tirat Carmel Municipality, through the Shefa Department, is currently working to clean the city, as it does every year in preparation for Passover. In the meantime, a major emphasis is placed on cleaning work in public areas and spaces, including parks and gardens throughout the city, weeding, washing bins and waste facilities, and more.
As part of the work, workers remove waste and debris removed by residents from their homes, sweep and wash the roads and sidewalks, and perform landscaping and other activities to improve the appearance of the city.

Also, and as every year, in preparation for and during the holiday, garbage removal services will be carried out in the city at unusual hours, in a manner that will improve the service and allow for regular and complete removal of the garbage in coordination and with the approval of the police, at 04:00 in the morning on the following dates: 30.3.25 (between Saturday and Sunday), 31.3.25 (between Sunday and Monday); 1.4.25 (between Monday and Tuesday); 2.4.25 (between Tuesday and Wednesday); 11.4.25 (between Thursday and Friday).
Throughout the weekdays of the holiday, the employees of the Shefa Department will continue their regular work and maintain the cleanliness of the city, in order to allow all residents and visitors to enjoy the holiday in a pleasant atmosphere.
Director of the ShPA Department, Aryeh Wagner: "I sincerely thank the department's employees who work during this period, and throughout the year, around the clock for the city's residents and their well-being. On this occasion, I ask the public to adhere to a number of guidelines that will help improve and streamline the service - coordinate the removal of scrap and trimming waste with the municipal hotline, and place it in an accessible place near the bins, and not in the green or orange bins. Also, avoid taking out scrap and trimmings on Fridays and holiday eves, so that they do not accumulate during Shabbat or the holiday, and throw household waste only in the bins. May we all have a happy holiday!"
