The Haifa Economic Society is strengthening ties with China and was invited to the embassy to discuss future economic collaborations for the city. Yesterday (Monday, 24/3/2) representatives of the society participated in a high-level meeting at the Haifa Mayor's Office, where Yona Yahav hosted the Chinese Ambassador to Israel – Mr. Xiao Junzheng – and the Chinese Embassy staff.
During the meeting, the ambassador praised the mayor for his many years of contribution to promoting ties between China and Haifa – including the establishment of the SIPG port in the city – and expressed a great desire to cooperate on projects in the city.
The economic company presented its focus on real estate, energy, and tourism, emphasizing the broad economic potential inherent in the city.
At the end of the meeting, the ambassador personally invited the chairman of the economic company, Rani Bender, and the company's CEO, Hanan Markovich, to a special meeting at the Chinese Embassy in Israel, with the aim of examining economic cooperation and future investments in the city.
The Mayor of Haifa, Yona Yahav: "Strengthening ties with China is an important step in the effort to generate economic opportunities, which will contribute to areas such as real estate, energy, tourism and industry, and will lead to strengthening Haifa's status as an international economic center. Haifa is a city with tremendous economic potential, and therefore we are constantly working to attract international investments to it. A clear example of this can be seen in the visits of the many ambassadors, who have chosen to visit Haifa since I returned to my post, and to meet with me in order to explore possibilities for international cooperation."
Rani Bender, Chairman of the Haifa Economic Society:
"The economic potential inherent in the connection between Haifa and China is enormous. The meeting with the ambassador marks Haifa's return to the map of international cooperation - and we are determined to turn this connection into a real opportunity for the city."
Hanan Markovich, CEO of the Haifa Economic Company:
"Haifa is at the threshold of a significant development boom. We are focused on initiating huge projects and welcome any international connection that can generate investments, collaborations, and economic growth for the benefit of the city and its residents."
Close Yaffe Nof and replace the company with Chinese workers to resurface all !!! roads in the Haifa area! Following the Carmel Tunnels, which did a perfect job in less time than the agreement, we have seen our suffering for the renewal of roads in Haifa by the Yaffe Nof company, which is unable and unable to perform efficient, fast work without suffering for residents and businesses in Haifa. The roads in Haifa must be resurfaced, as in Jerusalem, all the roads are resurfaced and pleasant to drive, unlike Haifa, which is full of potholes that cause damage to vehicles and suffering for passengers.
The order of the day is to harness the Chinese to tunnel the train, also so that it can reach the Gulf port more quickly.
Also so that we can take care of the poor and aging coastal neighborhoods behind the railroad tracks.
We must promote tunneling, it is the only logical alternative.
Tunneling in a straight line from the Hof Carmel station to the central Hamifratz station. Intermediate stop at the station at the bottom.
Nahal Giborim near the Grand Canyon and an easy and convenient connection of Neve Sha'anan and the Carmel neighborhoods to the train.
Shikob does not skip Haifa. On the contrary, Shikob with 3 stations: Hof Carmel, Nahal Giborim and Hamifratz Central Station will be an engine for tremendous growth in the coastal neighborhoods and around Hamifratz Central Station. From there, it will also connect directly to the Hamifrat Port.
We must stop the unnecessary subsidence struggles of a kilometer here or there at best and immediately demand funding for a tunnel for Israel Railways from the Carmel Beach through the mountain. Expedited planning and approval for a year. Tender and work for 4 years. By 2030, Haifa will be different, the entire coastline open. A light rail from the central part of the Gulf on the branch of the existing tracks today to Kiryat HaMalma, to Bat Galim, to Shaar Aliyah and connecting with the Carmel Beach station and from there the light rail continues via Highway 4 to Tirat HaMalma.
This is the most appropriate future for Haifa.
Yes, we saw the excellent Chinese work in Thailand… how the building collapsed in seconds…
You go to China and stay there.
The railway tunnel is like the Carmel Tunnels.
3 years and there is a completely open coastline and a train directly to the checkpoint with a station in Wadi HaGiborim for Carmel residents. All the space that will be freed up will be a light rail between the Carmel Beach and the checkpoint, 5-10 stations. And full of promenades, parks, some hotels..
All of Haifa will flourish from the sinking of the train
Over 20 years of experience with Chinese people. Nothing good has come out of Haifa and Israel from Chinese investments.
Keep selling the city to foreigners.
One port for the Chinese
A second port for Indians
Haifa Tunnels
Want more????
The main thing is that you stay in the swing….
The city's citizens continue to pay the price.
Haifa continues to be neglected, polluted,
Nothing is being done for the welfare of the residents.
The main thing is that we are in motion…
Momentum I need to feel positive.
Unfortunately, there is nothing like this in Haifa.
If you're feeling upbeat, then see Nesher, Carmel Castle.
For the good of the city and its residents – you laughed
