Strengthening the community – for every holiday and all year round

Neve Yosef Community Center has been operating for about 40 years in the heart of East Haifa neighborhoods, providing community and social services to residents of low socioeconomic status. Over the years, we have gained a wealth of experience in providing assistance to those in need, especially during the holiday periods - when economic pressure intensifies and the need for a real response increases.

Not obvious

While for some families the festive table is a given, there are many families in our area who face financial challenges that prevent them from celebrating the holidays with dignity and joy.

With the aim of helping and providing relief, we take a focused and practical approach: through shopping vouchers and food packages, we assist families and the elderly who do not receive sufficient support from the authorities.

Feel part of the community

The principle that guides us is simple but significant: to ensure that every family and every elderly person receives the assistance they need to purchase their holiday groceries, and to feel part of our larger community and family. The support we provide is not only a material contribution, but also a social message, conveying the value of belonging and local unity.

Your donations

• 100 NIS – Basic support that helps with purchasing essential products for the holiday.
• 300 NIS – A shopping voucher that provides the family with the opportunity to fully purchase groceries and celebrate with dignity.
• 500 NIS and up – Broad support that allows us to provide food packages and shopping vouchers to large families and the elderly, recognizing the unique challenges they face.

Why now?

This year, even more than in previous years, the need for assistance is increasing, and so is the importance of providing assistance. Your donation will allow us to reach more families and seniors, expand the circle of help, and ensure that assistance reaches more people who really need it.

With their support, we will strengthen social ties within the neighborhood and enable continued joint action, which will change the reality for many so that Passover will be a celebration of hope and joy.
