(haipo) – A 25-year-old man was critically injured after skidding off a motorcycle, and medical teams were forced to declare him dead.
The salvation union said:
United Hatzalah medical teams performed CPR on a motorcyclist (about 25 years old) who was critically injured near the Ata Interchange.
Yishai Shor, a United Hatzalah medic who arrived first at the scene, said:
"The motorcyclist was found lying next to the motorcycle he was riding, with no pulse and no breathing. I began performing CPR with the assistance of additional paramedics. At the end of the resuscitation efforts, unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident."
MDA informed Lahi Pa:
At 12:54, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a motorcyclist who slipped while riding near the Ata Interchange.
MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment and performed CPR, ultimately having to declare the death of a 25-year-old man with multiple systemic injuries.
MDA emergency medical technician Shraga Rosenthal said:
"The man was lying on the sidewalk, a few meters from the motorcycle, unconscious and suffering from severe multi-system damage. He had no pulse and was not breathing, and we immediately began performing CPR on him, ultimately forcing us to declare him dead on the spot."
ZKA stated:
Highway 22, Ata Interchange heading north, fatal car accident. Man, about 25 years old, killed. Under treatment by ZAKA team.
