(haipo) – A 29-year-old man was caught lighting a flare in the stands during the football game in Sami Ofer last night (Sunday, 16/3/25). He was taken for questioning and imprisoned. Administrative reports totaling NIS 4000 and expulsions from the football fields were issued to fans who did not meet the conditions of the expulsion.

As part of preparations for the football game, the police noticed a flare being lit inside the fan stands. The police tracked the suspect, approached him and detained him for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned.
In addition, the Coastal District police recorded 2 administrative reports for fans who were removed from the games and did not report to the police station as required by the conditions. The reports cost 4000 NIS.
Depending on the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police will request an extension of the torchbearer's detention in court.
